We have created a beach resort that maintains the core character of Thai hospitality but with the flexibility of private home living rather than the restricted hotel atmosphere. It is a wonderful place to be relaxed and lazy for a few days.
HISTORY & THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT
The original concept of the two founders of Baan Krating Resorts, Mr. Adisorn Charanachitta a hotel entrepreneur, and Mr. Vichit Chinalai a leading architect was to create a unique network of small boutique resorts in Thailand.
From the natural beauty of the northern mountains to the sandy beaches of the south, Baan Krating Resorts offer inexpensive boutique accommodation in unique locations emphasizing the natural beauty of Thailand.
As of January 2004, Baan Krating Co., Ltd comprises 4 resorts:
Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Phuket
Baan Krating Khao lak, Phang-gha
Baan Krating Pai, Mae Hong Sorn
Baan Krating Chiang Dao, Chiangmai
Baan Krating Resort is planning to expand its existing network of boutique resorts to nine properties. It will develop in such diverse Thai locations as Koh Samui, Koh Chang and Koh Kor Kao.
ACCOMMODATIONS
With 30 private and comfortable villas with sea view balconies, Baan Krating Jungle Beach offers the most exclusive atmosphere on Phuket Island. Guests can enjoy the day at our private beach, relaxing by our private swimming pool, or lounge in our private garden.
In all 30 private villas, the following amenities are available:

FACILITIES
Baan Krating Jungle Beach not only provides cozy villas, but also fine dining and bar facilities. Our open air bar/dining facility is the centerpiece of the resort where guests can socialize after a day at the beach.
Both facilities overlook the sea with romantic views toward Prom Thep Cape.
- “Sorny” Restaurant and Bar serving both Thai and Western food from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
- “Sorny” Bar is equipped with a pool table and a big screen television for satellite television and international sporting events.
- “By the Sea” private dinning area where guests can enjoy special cuisine on request.
